2021: Lady Stigmata, a seasoned drag queen, faces her final show after being fired for chronic drunkenness. Tonight, she finally breaks her silence about being HIV-positive and reveals how AIDS devastated her club in the 1980s. Through drag numbers and stand-up comedy, she exposes the stigma that HIV-positive people still face today.
1991: In a lonely hospital room, young drag performer Billy lies dying of AIDS, unvisited for six weeks. When Matthew, a young priest and his childhood friend, arrives to hear Billy's deathbed confession, he instead finds himself revealing his own buried truths.
