About the process
Introductory meeting
The journey to the birth of the book begins with an introductory meeting at no cost and without obligation.
We'll sit in a café and get to know each other. I will tell you about the process and you will tell me about yourself.
Together we will outline the chapters of the book in order to understand how many meetings we will need to encompass the course of your life.
Interviews and research
When we decide we're going, I'll come to your home for a few meetings, helping you recall memories you didn't even know you remembered! In interviews, I will learn your life story, so that I can write a book that conveys your special character. In addition, I will conduct supplementary research that will help me understand in depth the background of the events of the story, the facts and the dates mentioned in it.
Writing and editing
Literary editing is when the magic happens – your life story becomes a work of art!
As an artist, I aspire to write a book that will not only contain biographical information, but will be exciting and interesting to read.
Out of all the memories and experiences you have accumulated, we will gather together those significant and exciting events that will resonate with every reader and not just your loved one.
Design and print
At this point, the text will receive additional color, and we will embed pictures and letters in it. I carefully selected only graphic designers and printers that meet the highest standards.
I will help you choose a design according to your taste and pocket.
You can choose the book size, paper type, cover type (soft or hard), layout type (classic or fancy), and number of copies printed.
My name is Yonatan Calderon.
I am an Israeli playwright, writer, and poet.
My first play, Under the Skin, has been translated into five languages and performed worldwide. My work has been staged at major venues in Israel and internationally, earning multiple awards. My poems have also appeared in various literary journals.
I have a BA in Hebrew literature with honors from Ben-Gurion University, and an MA in theater from Tel Aviv University.
