An adaptation of Efrat Tilma's biography
Efrat, 70, has been volunteering as a police officer in the Tel Aviv district for three years, but none of the officers who work with her assume that she was born in a male body. One night, her best friend is detained for questioning. The fraught encounter with her transgender friend, and the abusive treatment she receives from her fellow police officers, force Efrat to confront her past, which she has worked hard all her life to hide.
The play follows different stages in Efrat's life, and provides a rare glimpse into her brave and extraordinary life. Efrat's character is played by various actresses and actors.
Tilma is the darling of the city of Tel Aviv-Yafo in 2019 and was chosen as one of the 100 most influential people in the world of the-BBC For 2022.
